FANTASTIC! From the minute we walked in I knew it was going to be great! We were greeted by a smily girl who looked happy to be there! That doesn't happen anymore! We were immediately seated and offered cups and ice, we say yes please, lots of cups and a bucket of ice come. Next we peruse the huge menu, make our Choices and go up to the counter to order-highly organized system! When I get back to the table there is an ANGEL with another bucket of ice-I love lots of ice in my drinks and use too much-it was like she knew!!! Needless to say I am thrilled. We have Lucious apps! within seconds another smily Person comes around and clears our plates, asking do we need more water, more bread! I haven't had this sort of service in a long time! Didn't see this coming! I figured it would be good but the service puts it way way over the top! Oh yeah, the food-amazing! I had lobster and crab over linguini, could only eat 1/2! All four of us loved Our dinners!! From beginning to end-FANTASTIC! Can't wait To go back next weekend!
This is the prime example of a straightforward shore restaurant! Upon entry, the service is homey and pleasant--as if you've just entered a neighborhood bbq party. A woman kindly brought an ice bucket for our beers without me having to ask for it. My bf and I shared a crab chowder and grilled gulf grouper sandwich which went perfectly with our Leffe. Add a beautiful water view and my handsome company on top of that, it was a enjoyable, relaxing afternoon down at the shore.
My go to place for dinner and take out in Sea Isle City. A staple in the community. Best fried clam strips I've ever had. Prices have increased over the years but that's everywhere unfortunately. Servers are always nice and upbeat. Busy nights and weekends.
Lobster Fra Diavolo is probably the best I've ever had bar none. Unbelievably flavorful and balanced with just the right amount of spice yum. Everything crab is also great here Mussels also slap. Not a huge fan of the fried stuff but that's just a personal preference. Be prepared to wait in line during peak times so bring your cooler. Ps lobster Mac and cheese also kills
Me and my boyfriend went here while on vacation in SIC and everything was absolutely delicious ! Highly recommend the old bay fries and any crab trays. Cannot wait to come back for some more seafood
Very casual atmosphere (picnic tables on the dock but covered and very well shaded) and BYOB. You wait to be seated and then place your order at the counter once you've decided. Lots of staff around bringing you water, cups, a bucket of ice for your wine etc. Great service. Have gotten take out and fresh seafood to make at home lots of times, but would absolutely come back to eat in again!
delicious, fresh, no frills seafood!! Mikes is a must if you're heading down the shore and want something casual. Staff is super friendly. The mussels in white wine are unreal!! Can't beat dipping the fresh bread they give you into that sauce
